| C | osmetic rhinoplasty is an outpatient procedure done under either local anesthesia with intravenous sedation or general anesthesia and usually takes less than an hour. This procedure is usually aimed at reshaping the nose to improve the contour as well as the frontal view. |
| The
reshaping of the nose can involve eliminating an unwanted hump on profile,
lengthening the nose or shortening it, elevating the tip, narrowing the
nose and developing a more refined nasal tip. |
