Dr. James Foley's Website!
Dr.
Foley has been in solo practice for over 28 years. His office is located
in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota. He also sees patients at a satellite
office in Apple Valley, Minnesota.
After
graduating from the College of St. Thomas Dr. Foley earned his medical
degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He then completed
a general surgery residency at Highland General Hospital in Oakland,
California, followed by a plastic surgery fellowship at the Mayo
Clinic.
Dr.
Foley is board certified in plastic & reconstructive surgery and
is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. In 1989, Dr. Foley
was honored by the University of St. Thomas with its prestigious
Humanitarian Award for his annual trips to Honduras, Sri Lanka and
Guatemala to donate his surgical expertise to repair cleft lips
and palates of less fortunate patients.
Dr.
Foley has been repeatedly acknowledged as "Top Doctor" in Minneapolis/St.
Paul magazine. This year, he was awarded the "Stop the Violence
Award" by the Minnesota Medical Association for his work on gang-related
tattoo removal. Dr. Foley lives in Sunfish Lake and enjoys skiing,
reading, sailing, classical guitar and adventure travel. (see
